It has 2 joules output at 75 ohms. Works best with steel wire, poly wire, poly tape, poly rope or high tensile fence systems. Other features include easy-access terminals and mounting brackets for quick connections and installation; a sealed plastic cabinet; large indicator light shows fence controller is working; UL-listed and a one-year warranty that includes damage caused by lightning. Distance rating of up to 50 miles is based on a single strand of steel wire in weed-free conditions. Multiple fence wires, weeds and wire type other than steel reduce the effective distance rating. Produces a sharp, short, safe shock on the fence line of your enclosure. Effective control of all animals, including predators and difficult to contain animals.
